With that in mind, the LIANZA Council would like to review the LIANZA Professional Recognition Awards to ensure the awards remain current, and that the sector is aware of the awards and engage with them by applying for and nominating peers each year.
Expression of Interest (EOI) are being called to form a small working group to review the current LIANZA Professional Recognition Awards, and we’d like your help!
This working group will make recommendation for improving engagement, raising awareness and interest, and ensuring the awards remain relevant in the future.
The working group will have six members drawn from the LIANZA membership, including one from the current LIANZA Council and one from the current LIANZA Credentials Committee. One will be drawn from outside of LIANZA (if possible), so that the working group will have an outside sector perspective.
If you’re interested please read the LIANZA Professional Recognition Awards Working Group Terms of Reference before applying.
Laurinda Thomas LIANZA Professional Recognition Award Chair “I feel very strongly about the work of the LIANZA Credentials Committee, and the role that it plays in formally recognising the achievements of members of our profession. I have been an advocate for people putting forward nominations and applications for the LIANZA Professional Recognition Awards and I have contributed references to associateship applications and provided information for fellowship nominations.” |
Being part of a working group can allow you to have your voice heard, gain important and relevant work experience, and meet colleagues from your sector nationwide!
